Dispatch Supervisor

Harp Home Services, a dynamic, rapidly-growing HVAC, Plumbing, and Electric company, is growing again! We are seeking a highly skilled Dispatch Supervisor to join our team at our Windsor, CT location!

In this role you will:

· Directly supervise and coordinate the activities of up to 4 Dispatchers.

· Provide clear and concise communications with department managers, employees and company customers, including keeping customers appraised as to company schedule and requested lead-times.

· Prepare and issue work schedules, deadlines, and duty assignments for Dispatchers.

· Evaluate employees' job performance and conformance to regulations and recommend appropriate personnel action.

· Implement corporate or departmental policies, procedures, and service standards in conjunction with management.

· Design, implement, or evaluate departmental training and development programs, departmental initiatives, or performance measurement criteria.

· Oversee all communications within specifically assigned territories.

· Train or instruct employees in job duties or company policies or arrange for training to be provided.

· Weekend rotation, and fill in when needed due to callouts or heavy demand.

· Other duties as assigned.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

· 5 plus years of experience in customer service or similar role (dispatch experience is preferred).

· 2 plus years in a supervisory role

· A professional appearance

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all types of customers

· Strong customer service attitude.

· Able to plan and schedule work rather than just react.

· Able to "think on your feet" to provide customers with needed information for their specific installation or repair.

· Ability to work as part of a team.

· Strong computer skills with a good knowledge of Microsoft office and ability to learn customer service management and scheduling / dispatch software.

· High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED)Required

· Associate's Degree (two year college or technical school) a plus

· Microsoft Office, Google Maps
